The MP29816-A is a dual-loop, digital multi-phase controller supporting up to 16 phases, designed for high-performance power delivery in graphics cards, datacenters, and AI systems. It supports AVSBus and OVR-16 interfaces, is stackable for higher phase counts (32, 48, 96 phases), and features digital control for loop compensation, load-line regulation, and nonlinear control to reduce output capacitors. It provides digital configurability, monitoring of voltage/current/power/temperature via PMBus, over-power protection, Intelli-Phase fault diagnosis, integrated NVM for VR programming and black box, automatic phase-shedding for efficiency, and configurable protections.
