70A Intelli-PhaseTM 5x6 DrMOS Solution with Quiet SwitcherTM Technology
MP87997 is a monolithic half-bridge with built-in
internal power MOSFETs and gate drivers. It
achieves 70A of continuous output current over
a wide input supply range.
Quiet SwitcherTM technology utilizes a
proprietary circuit design, achievable only in
monolithic architecture, to suppress voltage
ringing. This technology limits peak switching
voltages to less than 2V above the input voltage,
improving device reliability, lowering EMI
emissions and reducing sensitivity to PCB
layout.
MP87997 offers many features to simplify
system design. This device works with
controllers with tri-state PWM signal and comes
with an accurate current sense to monitor the
inductor current and temperature sense to report
junction temperature.
MP87997 is ideal for server applications where
efficiency and small size are a premium. The
MP87997 is available in TLGA (5mmx6mm)
package.
