The MP2891 is a dual-rail, digital, multi-phase controller that provides power for NVIDIA PWM-VID core power. It is also compliant with AVSBus interface. The MP2891 can work with MPS’s Intelli-PhaseTMTM products to complete the multiphase voltage regulator (VR) solution with minimum external components. The MP2891 can be configured with max 16-phase operation for rail 1, max 8-phase for rail 2.
